MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – has announced its 2019-20 preseason men's basketball All-America team, naming senior forward Kevin Dennis (Bronx, N.Y.) to its Third Team.

The preseason All-America team is chosen from previous years' All-American and All-Region nominations.
The senior was an All-Region selection for a year ago, after being named the Rookie of the Year in 2017.
Dennis, a three-time North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) first-team selection, dominated play in the paint, starting all 28 games for the Mustangs at forward his junior season and averaged 20.9 points and 14.4 rebounds per game, while shooting 65.8% from the floor.
The forward averaged 27.0 minutes per game on the court, netted a total of 585 points, including 151 from the free throw line, while snagging 404 total rebounds off the glass. More than 130 were grabbed off the offensive boards, as he also assisted 24 and blocked a total of 38 shots.
Dennis, the reigning NEAC Player of the Year led the league in total field goals (217), field goal percentage, free throws, offensive and defensive rebounds (271), along with total rebounds (404) and points. He is second overall in scoring at 20.9 points per game.
He was the NCAA Division III Champion in double-doubles in 2018-19, while ranking in the top 10 in four additional statistical categories.
The graduate of Harry S. Truman High is majoring in criminal justice at SUNY Morrisville. He is the son of Monique Davis of the Bronx.
Morrisville gets the season underway on Tuesday, November 12, hosting SUNY Brockport on the Mustangs' home court in a 7 p.m. non-league battle.
