LATHAM, N.Y. – This week’s edition of the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Weekly Notables features updates from Gallaudet University and Penn State Harrisburg.

Gallaudet
Gallaudet athletics is wrapping up its summer fundraising campaign, which it started in mid-May, as Bison teams, staff and student-athletes have raised nearly $70,000 in four months ... Gallaudet hosted the 21st annual Congressional Basketball game on Sept. 17 and will host the Congressional Football game next Tuesday, Sept. 24 ... GU’s official athletic Instagram account surpassed 10,000 followers, the most in NCAA Division III athletics ... Gallaudet’s women’s soccer team participated in the United Soccer Coaches’ third annual #PlayWithPride week as they wore special rainbow shoelaces during its match with Penn St.-Berks on Sept. 14 ... Senior goalie Silvya Levesque (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) recently set two program records with her 19th career win and 10th shutout in goal for the GU women’s soccer program ... Men’s soccer forward Chad Johnson (Gardena, Calif.) had his fifth career multi-goal game last Saturday in a 6-2 loss to Penn St.-Berks in the NEAC opener for both teams.

Penn State Harrisburg
Penn State Harrisburg saw four student-athletes in Jared Brewer (Reston, Va.), Brittany Ebaugh (Stewartstown, Pa.), Alexis Imler (Bedford, Pa.), and Rachael Lim (Moonachie, N.J.) earn NEAC weekly honors … Brewer was named the NEAC Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, Ebaugh was tabbed the conference’s women’s volleyball Player of the Week, Imler secured women’s volleyball Defensive Player of the Week honors and Lim earned NEAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week honors following the first match of her collegiate career … The men’s soccer, women’s soccer, women’s volleyball, and women’s tennis teams were all perfect in their contests last week.
