LATHAM, N.Y. – This week’s North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) weekly notables features updates from this past weekend’s men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball championships as well as postseason matchups. 

Morrisville State
The Mustangs won their third straight NEAC women’s volleyball championship on Sunday … Morrisville State (23-7) swept Penn State Abington 3-0 to earn an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament … The Mustangs’ will face Ithaca (18-10) on Friday at 3 p.m. in the First Round of the Postdam Regional hosted by Clarkson … 

Penn State Abington
Penn State Abington advanced to the NEAC women’s volleyball championship game for the first time in program history this past weekend … Abington defeated Penn State Harrisburg in the semifinals on Saturday before falling to Morrisville State in the title game …

Penn State Berks
Penn State Berks (15-6) won its seventh straight NEAC women’s soccer tournament title over the weekend … The Nittany Lions topped Penn State Harrisburg 5-0 in the championship game … Berks will represent the NEAC in the 2019 NCAA Tournament, which opens this weekend, against John’s Hopkins (14-2-4) at 5 p.m. on Saturday … Berks’ Jeyda Duran was named MVP of tournament …

Penn State Harrisburg
Penn State Harrisburg (15-5-1) needed double overtime to win its first NEAC title in men’s soccer on Sunday against Keuka (9-10-1) … Joey Aman provided the game- and championship-winner for the Nittany Lions in the 108th minute … Harrisburg will face fourth-ranked Franklin & Marshall (16-3) on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament … The Penn State Harrisburg women’s soccer team (11-10-1) will play in the postseason as well … The women will play in the ECAC Division III Women’s Soccer Championship … The Nittany Lions are the No. 4 seed in pod four and will take No. 1 seed in the pod and host Albright (12-8) at 5 p.m. on Saturday …

SUNY Cobleskill
The Fighting Tigers (9-6-4) will play in the 2019 ECAC Division III Men’s Soccer Championship … SUNY Cobleskill is the No. 3 seed in the Region I bracket of the tournament will visit No. 2 seed Wilkes University (8-7-3) on Saturday at 4 p.m. in the first round …
