LATHAM, N.Y. – The NEAC Weekly Notable update for this week features updates from Keuka College, Penn State Harrisburg, Wells College and the North Eastern Athletic Conference.  

Keuka College
Senior Emily McGuigan broke the career goals record on Tuesday (now has 60 in her career) … Also broke the career points record on Sunday (now has 141) …

Penn State Harrisburg
Penn State Harrisburg men’s soccer kept rolling, as the Lions won a pair of contests to extend their recent win streak to five games and remain undefeated in conference play … Joey Aman netted the game-winner in both games and eclipsed the 20-goal mark for his career, while Nick Guglielmetti pitched two more shutouts in goal … Aman’s performance garnered him NEAC Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Guglielmetti’s efforts earned him the conference’s defensive player of the week moniker … Women’s volleyball player Brittany Ebaugh recently reached a historic milestone, as she became the first player in program history to record 1,000 total points for her career …

Wells College
The five-day span from Oct. 5 through Oct. 10 brought a combined five milestones and records to the Wells volleyball program … In a 3-2 win at SUNY Poly, two Wells players hit milestones in the same match … Jordan Stoops recorded 1,000 assists and Jackie Allen registered 1,000 digs … In addition, Allen broke the single-match record for kills with 29. The previous single-match record was 27 by Vashti set on October 10, 2015 against Westminster College … Adding those 29 kills to Allen's career total left her as the all-time career kill leader at No. 1 at Wells with 1,037 and counting … On Oct. 5, in the team's first set 25-20 win at Houghton, Allen hit the first of the team's three milestones during the five-day stretch with her 1,000th kill …

October 10 was World Mental Health Day and the NEAC Student-Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) placed green pinwheels around each institution’s campuses as part of the initiative this fall focused on student-athlete mental health and person well-being ... 
School releases; Cazenovia, Gallaudet, Penn State Berks


The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has 12 NCAA Division III member institutions which include: Cazenovia College, Gallaudet University, Keuka College, Lancaster Bible College, Morrisville State, Penn College, Penn State Abington, Penn State Berks, Penn State Harrisburg, SUNY Cobleskill, SUNY Poly, and Wells College. Associate members are: Alfred State (M Lacrosse), Cedar Crest College (W Swimming), College of Saint Elizabeth (M Tennis & M Volleyball), D’Youville College (W Lacrosse), Hilbert College (M&W Lacrosse), Medaille College (M&W Lacrosse), Rutgers University – Camden (M Golf), SUNY Potsdam (M Volleyball) and Wilson College (M Volleyball).
