McIntyre & Miller Named NEAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week

LATHAM, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Cazenovia’s Dimetria McIntyre and Morrisville State’s Meaghan Miller as the women’s soccer Players of the Week for the week ending September 1.

Dimetria McIntyre (Troy, N.Y.) has been named the NEAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. The Troy native tallied six goals and an assist for 13 points for Cazenovia as the Wildcats went 2-1 over the opening weekend of the 2019 season. The sophomore recorded a hat trick and an assist in a 12-0 win over Villa Maria and scored twice in a season-opening 7-2 win over Hilbert.

Meaghan Miller (West Irondequoit, N.Y.) earned NEAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week honors. The West Irondequoit native stopped 15 shots across a pair contests for the Mustangs to open 2019. ON Saturday against Hartwick, the freshman made nine saves in a 1-0 loss for Morrisville State. Miller posted a 2.50 GAA and a .750 save percentage over the two games last weekend.
