Penn State Harrisburg Sweeps NEAC Men's Soccer Weekly Awards

LATHAM, N.Y. – Penn State Harrisburg’s Joey Aman and Luke Myers collect North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) men’s soccer Players of the Week.   

Joey Aman (Annapolis, Md.) scored twice and assisted on another goal for five points over a 2-0 week for the Nittany Lions. Aman collects his second Offensive Player of the Week honor this season. All five of the junior’s points came in Penn State Harrisburg’s 5-0 win over Cazenovia. The Annapolis, Md. native has eight goals on the season, which is T3 in the NEAC.

Luke Myers (Millerstown, Pa.) helped Penn State Harrisburg record a pair of shutouts of league foes. Myers and the Nittany Lions shutout Cazenovia, 5-0 on Sunday, who ranked second in the nation in scoring to three total shots and one on goal. The day prior the freshman netted his first career goal in overtime against Morrisville State to win 1-0. Penn State Harrisburg has allowed five goals so far in October.


The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has 12 NCAA Division III member institutions which include: Cazenovia College, Gallaudet University, Keuka College, Lancaster Bible College, Morrisville State, Penn College, Penn State Abington, Penn State Berks, Penn State Harrisburg, SUNY Cobleskill, SUNY Poly, and Wells College. Associate members are: Alfred State (M Lacrosse), Cedar Crest College (W Swimming), College of Saint Elizabeth (M Tennis & M Volleyball), D’Youville College (W Lacrosse), Hilbert College (M&W Lacrosse), Medaille College (M&W Lacrosse), Rutgers University – Camden (M Golf), SUNY Potsdam (M Volleyball) and Wilson College (M Volleyball).
