Penn State Berks' Cornish Earns Third Straight NEAC Men's Golfer of the Week

LATHAM, N.Y. – Andrew Cornish of Penn State Berks has been named the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Golfer of the Week in men’s golf for a third consecutive week.

Andrew Cornish (Pottstown, Pa.) helped the Nittany Lions to a win at the Muhlenberg Fall Invitational with a two-over 72 that put him T4 on the leaderboard. The senior was one shot off the lead in the 88-golfer field. After carding a 39 on the front, Cornish fired a two-under 33 on the back for his 72 while recording 13 pars and three birdies.


The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has 12 NCAA Division III member institutions which include: Cazenovia College, Gallaudet University, Keuka College, Lancaster Bible College, Morrisville State, Penn College, Penn State Abington, Penn State Berks, Penn State Harrisburg, SUNY Cobleskill, SUNY Poly, and Wells College. Associate members are: Alfred State (M Lacrosse), Cedar Crest College (W Swimming), College of Saint Elizabeth (M Tennis & M Volleyball), D’Youville College (W Lacrosse), Hilbert College (M&W Lacrosse), Medaille College (M&W Lacrosse), Rutgers University – Camden (M Golf), SUNY Potsdam (M Volleyball) and Wilson College (M Volleyball).
