Maloney, Dulniak Named NEAC Women's Lacrosse Student-Athletes of the Week

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Mackenzie Maloney and Megan Dulniak as its Student-Athlete of the Week selections in women’s lacrosse for the week ending April 28. This week marks the final set of awards of the 2019 season for women’s lacrosse.

Mackenzie Maloney (Huntington, N.Y.) from Wells College has been honored as the NEAC Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week with 11 goals and eight assists in two games. The senior midfielder scored five goals at Hilbert on Friday before recording six goals and eight assists at Medaille to help the Express clinch fourth place. Maloney also had five ground balls, 11 draw controls and three caused turnovers to earn her second weekly award of the season.

Megan Dulniak (Cheektowaga, N.Y.) from D’Youville College has been recognized as the NEAC Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week after wrapping up her career with three conference wins. Dulniak allowed 10 goals on the week and recorded 31 combined saves, including a 16-save performance against Lancaster Bible. The Spartans’ senior goalkeeper finished the week with a 3.33 goals-against average and a .756 save percentage.
