North Eastern Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Regular Season All-Conference Selections

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) concluded the women’s soccer season where the conference’s newest member, the Lancaster Bible Chargers, won the regular season championship with a perfect 11-0 NEAC record (17-1 overall).  The NEAC is proud to announce the 2011 regular season award winners and the all-conference selections.  The NEAC consists of 13 women’s soccer programs and will honor 34 student-athletes on the three all-conference teams as listed below, as well as four individual award winners.

Lancaster Bible junior midfielder Ally Brown (East Petersburg, Pa.) has been selected as the NEAC Player of the Year after registering 30 points on 13 goals (five game winners) and four assists in 11 conference games, while finishing with 44 points on 17 goals and 10 assists in 17 games overall.  Penn State Abington freshman forward Adriana Rodriguez (San Diego, Calif.) was selected as the conference’s inaugural Rookie of the Year after recording 17 points on eight goals and an assist in 11 conference contests, while adding two more goals in five non-conference games. Junior teammate Emily Lloyd (Northumberland, Pa.) was named the Goalkeeper of the Year after posting seven shutouts in 11 NEAC contests while registering 29 saves and a 0.36 goals against average.  Lloyd finished the year with 57 saves and just eight goals allowed in 17 total starts.  Lancaster Bible head coach Ken Craul was honored by his peers as the NEAC Coach of the Year after leading the Chargers to a regular season championship in their first season in the NEAC.
