Jessie Hammers (Wayland, N.Y.) from Keuka College has been named the NEAC Softball Player of the Week after going 17-for-26 at the plate to post a .654 batting average. The Wolves’ rookie had a double, two triples and six RBIs in an 8-0 week against NEAC opponents. More impressively, Hammers had 12 stolen bases, scored 13 runs and drew two walks for 22 total bases on the week. She finished the week with a .700 on-base percentage and a .846 slugging percentage. Hammers leads the conference with a .542 batting average in 29 games.
