Wally Rivera-Berrios (Toa Alta, Puerto Rico) from Penn State Altoona closes out the regular season with his sixth NEAC Men’s Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week award of the season. The Lions’ sophomore libero opened the week with 14 digs in a 3-0 sweep of Wilkes. On Apr. 8, he combined for 34 digs in matches against Eastern Mennonite and Stevenson. Rivera-Berrios finished the week with 48 digs for an average of 4.00 digs per set. He wraps up the regular season with a NEAC-best 463 digs and leads all of Division III with 4.33 digs per set.
