Andrew Cornish Receives First Men's Golf Weekly Honor of the Spring

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Andrew Cornish as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in men’s golf for the week ending April 7.

Andrew Cornish (Pottstown, Pa.) from Penn State Berks has been named the NEAC Men’s Golfer of the Week for the first time this spring after winning the Alvernia University Invitational. The Nittany Lions’ junior finished the event with a one-over 73 to lead a group of 47 golfers. Cornish’s best showing of the spring also helped Penn State Berks place first among nine teams. This is the fifth time this year that Cornish has received weekly honors.
