Degnan, Wilson Honored with NEAC Men's Lacrosse Weekly Awards

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Sean Degnan and Willie Wilson as its Student-Athlete of the Week selections in men’s lacrosse for the week ending March 10.

Sean Degnan (Monroe, N.Y.) from SUNY Cobleskill has been selected as the NEAC Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week after tallying eight points in a 17-3 win at Keystone on March 9. The Fighting Tigers’ senior attacker recorded four goals and four assists in the non-conference matchup. Degnan also picked up five ground balls and had one caused turnover in the SUNY Cobleskill victory.

Willie Wilson (Geneva, N.Y.) from SUNY Cobleskill has been honored as the NEAC Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week after recording seven saves in the Fighting Tigers’ 17-3 non-conference victory at Keystone. The senior goalie posted a .700 save percentage and held Keystone scoreless in the second half. Wilson also had five ground balls and a caused turnover to help his team earn the win.
