Diego Olazagasti Earns First NEAC Men's Tennis Weekly Award of 2018-19

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Diego Olazagasti as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in men’s tennis for the week ending Oct. 7. There were no nominations received for Women’s Tennis.

Diego Olazagasti (Exeter, Pa.) from Penn State Berks becomes the first NEAC Men’s Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week of the 2018-19 season after helping his team to a 6-3 victory in their first match of the season against Albright. Olazagasti began play by pairing with Curtis Uhle to earn an 8-4 victory at No.1 doubles. The Nittany Lions’ junior also picked up a 6-0 win in the first set of his singles match before his opponent bowed out in the second set.
