Wilson, Valentine Selected for NEAC Field Hockey Weekly Awards

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Nicole Wilson and Kassidy Valentine as its Student-Athlete of the Week selections in field hockey for the week ending Sept. 23.

Nicole Wilson (Liverpool, N.Y.) from Keuka College has been named NEAC Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week with three points for the Wolves. The sophomore forward figured into both Keuka College goals in a 5-2 loss against SUNY Geneseo with a goal and an assist. Wilson also scored in a shootout against Sage over the weekend to help the Wolves pick up a 1-0 win.  

Kassidy Valentine (Glendale, Calif.) from Keuka College has been chosen as NEAC Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season with a 1-1 record in two games last week. Despite suffering a loss against SUNY Geneseo, the Wolves’ junior goalie recorded 12 saves. Valentine also earned a shutout win after stopping three shots in a shootout against Sage to lift Keuka College to a 1-0 win on Sept. 23.
