Michael Litz Honored as NEAC Men's Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Michael Litz as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in men’s tennis for the week ending April 22.

Michael Litz (Huntingdon Valley, Pa.) from Penn State Abington has been selected as the NEAC Men’s Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week with a 4-2 record last week. The Nittany Lions’ sophomore posted a perfect 4-0 record in NEAC play before dropping two matchups against King’s. Competing at No. 1 doubles with Brandon Zwieback, Litz earned an 8-3 win against Bryn Athyn before picking up a 6-4, 6-1 victory at No. 1 singles on April 18. Later in the week, Litz and Zwieback paired again for an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles before Litz earned a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles against Penn College.
