Perdicho, O'Loughlin Receive Final NEAC Men's Volleyball Awards

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Brannon Perdicho and Caden O'Loughlin as its Student-Athlete of the Week selections in men’s volleyball for the week ending April 8. This week marks the final men’s volleyball selections of 2018.

Brannon Perdicho (Victor, N.Y.) from Wells College has been named NEAC Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week to close out this season with his third weekly award of 2018. The senior outside hitter averaged 4.2 kills per set with 42 kills and a .429 hitting percentage in a 3-0 week for the Express. In a crucial 3-1 win over Penn State Altoona, Perdicho recorded 24 kills, 10 digs and one block assist. He also totaled 27 digs, two assists and one service ace on the week to help Wells set a new program record with 20 wins.

Caden O’Loughlin (Louisville, Ky.) from Wells College is the NEAC Men’s Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season after leading the Express with 28 digs and an average of 2.80 digs per set in three wins last week. O’Loughlin, a sophomore outside hitter, also added one solo block, four block assists, eight service aces, four assists and 23 kills in his well-rounded week. With the regular season wrapped up, O’Loughlin ranks third is digs (203) and fourth in kills (296) among all NEAC players.
