Miller, Undari Named NEAC Men's Volleyball Student-Athletes of the Week

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced its Student-Athlete of the Week selections in men’s volleyball for the week ending Feb. 18. This week’s award-winners include student-athletes from Lancaster Bible and Wells College.

Nate Miller (Lititz, Pa.) from Lancaster Bible has been named the NEAC Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week for the second time this season after leading the Chargers to a 3-0 weekend, including a pair of conference victories. The Lancaster Bible junior recorded 19 kills, four blocks and three digs in a 3-0 win over Wilson. Miller also posted a match-high 20 kills with seven digs, four blocks and three aces in a sweep of Penn State Altoona. For the week, Miller totaled 46 kills, seven service aces, 14 digs and eight blocks with a .455 hitting percentage.

Josh Undari (Manor Park, N.Y.) from Wells College has been selected as the NEAC Men’s Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week with an average of 2.57 digs per set in a 3-1 week for the Express. On Feb. 17, the Wells College sophomore had 16 digs and four blocks in a 3-1 win over St. John Fisher before adding 11 digs later in the day in a sweep of Lasell. Defensively, he finished the four-match weekend with 36 digs and five blocks. Undari also provided help to the offense with 19 kills, 92 assists and three service aces.


The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has fourteen NCAA Division III member institutions which include: Bryn Athyn College, Cazenovia College, College of St. Elizabeth, Gallaudet University, Keuka College, Lancaster Bible College, Pennsylvania College of Technology, Pennsylvania State University – Abington, Pennsylvania State University – Berks, SUNY Cobleskill, SUNY Morrisville State College, SUNY Polytechnic Institute, Wells College, and Wilson College.  Associate members are: Cedar Crest College (W Swimming), D’Youville College (M Volleyball), Hilbert College (M&W Lacrosse), Medaille College (M&W Lacrosse, M Volleyball), Pennsylvania State University – Altoona (M Volleyball), and Rutgers University – Camden (M Golf).
