Neild Snags Fourth NEAC Women's Basketball Weekly Award

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Hannah Neild as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in women’s basketball for the week ending Feb. 18.

Hannah Neild (Litchfield, N.H.) from Gallaudet University closes out the year with her fourth NEAC Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week award. The junior guard continued her consistent play by averaging 27.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in a 2-0 week for the Bison. In a 78-76 win at Wilson, Neild netted 28 points with nine rebounds, two assists, three steals and three blocks. She added 27 points, four rebounds, two steals and three blocks in a 65-56 win against Penn State Abington to help the Bison secure the No. 2 South seed. Neild finished the regular season as the NEAC leader with 591 points, 23.6 points per game and 93 steals.
