Rashaan Bean Named NEAC Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Rashaan Bean as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in men’s basketball for the week ending Feb. 11.

Rashaan Bean (San Antonio, Texas) from Wilson College has been selected the NEAC Men’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week after averaging 22 points in a pair of conference wins. A sophomore forward for the Phoenix, Bean scored 19 points with three rebounds in an 87-82 victory at Penn State Abington. He closed out the weekend with 25 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals against Penn State Berks. In two games, Bean totaled 44 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals while shooting 59.3 percent from the field and 75.0 percent from the free-throw line.
