Khristaijah Jackson Named NEAC Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Khristaijah Jackson as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in women’s basketball for the week ending Jan. 14.

Khristaijah Jackson (Levittown, Pa.) from SUNY Poly has been named the NEAC Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week after averaging 29 points and 9.7 rebounds in a 3-0 week for the Wildcats against conference opponents. A senior forward, Jackson recorded 87 points, 29 rebounds, seven assists, six steals and six blocks in a week that included a 33-point performance against Penn State Berks. Jackson also shot 62.5 percent from the field and 81.0 percent from the free-throw line in the three wins. Currently, she ranks third in the league with 20.9 points per game and second with a 56.3 field goal percentage.
