Kirsten Webster Named NEAC Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Kirsten Webster as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in women’s basketball for the week ending Jan. 7.

Kirsten Webster (Mount Airy, Md.) from Lancaster Bible has been named the NEAC Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week with an average of 22 points, four rebounds and three assists in two games. The Chargers’ senior guard had a career-high 28 points in a 62-57 loss to No. 17 Juniata on Jan. 3. On Sunday at Staten Island, Webster added 16 points, which included a perfect 10-for-10 from the free-throw line. She currently leads all NEAC players with 88 made free throws in 13 games played. Webster finished the week with 44 points, eight rebounds, six assists and six steals.
