Herbie Brown Named NEAC Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Herbie Brown as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in men’s basketball for the week ending Dec. 17.

Herbie Brown (Wilmington, Del.) from Lancaster Bible has been selected as the NEAC Men’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week after a career week for the Chargers. On Wednesday in a loss to Wesley, the senior guard scored a career-best 36 points with 11 rebounds, three steals and one block. In an 87-74 win against Susquehanna on Dec. 16, Brown added 21 points to eclipse the 1,000-point mark. He also recorded four rebounds, three steals and two assists in the win. For the week, Brown totaled 57 points, 15 rebounds, six steals and one block while shooting 64.5 percent from the field. Brown currently ranks eighth in the NEAC with 17.3 points per game.
