NEAC Selects Courtney Goyak as Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Courtney Goyak as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in women’s basketball for the week ending Dec. 10.

Courtney Goyak (Pembine, Wis.) from Lancaster Bible has been named the NEAC Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week after guiding the Chargers to a 2-1 week that included a pair of NEAC victories. On Dec. 5 against Gallaudet, Goyak had 11 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and four steals in the 73-63 win. The junior forward added 12 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals in a non-conference loss to Penn State Harrisburg on Dec. 7. Goyak picked up her third double-double of the week in a win against the College of Saint Elizabeth with 22 points and 27 rebounds. She finished the week with 45 points, 54 rebounds, 12 assists, nine steals and one block.
