Deja Ingram Named NEAC Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Deja Ingram as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in women’s basketball for the week ending Dec. 3.

Deja Ingram (Trenton, N.J.) from the College of Saint Elizabeth has been named the NEAC Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week with three double-doubles and an average of 20.8 points per game in a four-game week for the Eagles. Ingram, a junior forward, began the week with 13 points and 12 rebounds against Lehman on Nov. 27. She followed that up the next day with 19 points and 12 rebounds at Penn State Abington. In a conference loss against Gallaudet on Dec. 2, Ingram netted 24 points with 14 rebounds and four blocks. She closed out the week by scoring 27 points in a 57-54 win at Berkeley College while also recording eight rebounds, three steals and four blocks. Ingram finished the week with 83 points, 46 rebounds, four assists, eight steals, nine blocks and a 42.9 shooting percentage from the field.
