Hannah Neild Earns NEAC Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week Honors

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Hannah Neild as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in women’s basketball for the week ending Nov. 26.

Hannah Neild (Litchfield, N.H.) from Gallaudet University has been named the NEAC Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week as the Bison’s leader in a pair of games last week. Gallaudet’s junior guard scored 28 points and grabbed seven rebounds, four steals, two assists and one block in the home opener against Washington & Lee on Nov. 21. In a 68-64 loss to Rutgers-Camden, Neild gave the Bison a 24-point performance with five rebounds, four steals and one assists. Neild closed out the week with 52 points, 12 rebounds, eight steals, three assists and one block, while shooting 46.2 percent from the field in her two games.
