Nichole Secor Named NEAC Women's Swimming & Diving Student-Athlete of the Week

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Nichole Secor as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in women’s swimming and diving for the week ending Nov. 19.

Nichole Secor (Fairport, N.Y.) from Cazenovia College has been named the NEAC Women’s Swimming and Diving Student-Athlete of the Week with a first-place finish in four events to help the Wildcats top Cedar Crest College and Roberts Wesleyan College. Secor won the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:56.80 and the 50-yard freestyle in 27.48. The Cazenovia senior also placed first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 58.92 to finish ahead of 10 swimmers by over six seconds. Secor was also part of the 400-yard medley relay team that finished first with a time of 4:48.80. This is the second time in three weeks that Secor has been honored by the conference office.
