Benjamin Sealts Honored as NEAC Men's Swimming & Diving Student-Athlete of the Week

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Benjamin Sealts as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in men’s swimming and diving for the week ending Nov. 19.

Benjamin Sealts (Ottawa, Ohio) from Gallaudet University has been selected as the NEAC Men’s Swimming and Diving Student-Athlete of the Week after winning three individual events in a meet against Marymount. Sealts placed first among five competitors in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:52.84. The Bison rookie was also close to setting new school records in the 100-yard butterfly and the 100-yard backstroke where he picked up wins with final times of 55.54 and 5.34, respectively. This marks the third-straight week a Gallaudet swimmer has earned the weekly men’s award and the second award of Sealts’ season.
