Benjamin Sealts Named NEAC Men's Swimming & Diving Student-Athlete of the Week

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Benjamin Sealts as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in men’s swimming and diving for the week ending Nov. 5.

Benjamin Sealts (Ottawa, Ohio) from Gallaudet University has been selected as the NEAC Men’s Swimming and Diving Student-Athlete of the Week with a record-setting performance against Elizabethtown. Despite Gallaudet’s team loss, Sealts won two events and finished second in the 100-yard backstroke. In the 200-yard individual medley, the Bison rookie set a new school record by more than four seconds with a time of 2:02.31 to win the event. Sealts also won the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:26.22 to finish nearly two minutes ahead of the second-place swimmer.
