Donat, Bartlett Receive NEAC Women's Soccer Weekly Awards

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Ashley Donat and Angela Bartlett as its Student-Athlete of the Week selections in women’s soccer for the week ending Oct. 15.

Ashley Donat (Lehartsville, Pa.) from Penn College was selected as the NEAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after recording 11 points in two games last week. In a 6-1 non-conference win over Clarks Summit, Donat netted a hat trick and an assist for seven points. Over the weekend, Penn College’s rookie forward scored of the Wildcats’ goals in a 2-2 draw against Morrisville State College.

Angela Bartlett (West Winfield, N.Y.) from SUNY Poly has been named NEAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week with two victories for the Wildcats last week. Bartlett made five saves in a double-overtime win at SUNY Canton on Oct. 12 before making five more stops in a 2-0 victory at Cazenovia College on Oct. 14. She leads the NEAC with eight wins and a 0.57 goals-against average in 11 games played.
