Kiss from Penn State Berks Earns Second NEAC Runner of the Week Honor

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Michelle Kiss as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in women’s cross country for the week ending Oct. 8.

Michelle Kiss (Lebanon, Pa.) from Penn State Berks picks up her second NEAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week award in three weeks with her performance at the Battle of the Buggy. The Nittany Lions’ junior claimed the individual title after completing the 6K course in 24:09, finishing 1:02 ahead of the second-place runner. Kiss is the first Berks runner to win an individual championship since 2012 and helped guide her team to a third-place finish.
