Jeremy Heist Receives First NEAC Men's Tennis Weekly Honor of 2017

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Jeremy Heist of Penn State Berks as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in men’s tennis for the week ending Oct. 1.

Jeremy Heist (Fleetwood, Pa.) from Penn State Berks is the first NEAC Men’s Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week of the year after earning four victories last week. In his team’s win against Albright, Heist paired with Federico Ochoa for an 8-1 victory at No. 2 doubles before earning a 6-1, 6-1 decision at No. 5 singles. Over the weekend against Immaculata, the rookie posted wins at No. 2 doubles and No. 4 singles to help the Nittany Lions open the season with a 2-0 record.
