Andrew Cornish Named NEAC Men's Golfer of the Week

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Penn State Berks' Andrew Cornish as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in men’s golf for the week ending Oct. 1.

Andrew Cornish (Limerick, Pa.) from Penn State Berks was named NEAC Men’s Golfer of the Week by tying for first place in a field of 83 golfers at the Lebanon Valley Dutchmen Invitational. Cornish, a sophomore at Penn State Berks, recorded the lowest single-round score in program history by finishing two under par with a 70. His efforts led the Nittany Lions to second place out of 17 participating teams.
