Mallach, Warren Named NEAC Women's Soccer Student-Athletes of the Week

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Brittany Mallach and Allie Warren as its Student-Athlete of the Week selections in women’s soccer for the week ending Sept. 17.

Brittany Mallach (Milton, Ontario) from Gallaudet University receives NEAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors after scoring six goals off 11 shots in her team’s 2-0 week. In an 8-0 win versus Valley Forge, Mallach scored twice on six shots. On Sept. 17 at Hollins, the Bison’s junior forward recorded a hat trick in the first 15 minutes  before adding a fourth goal later in the contest. Mallach has eight goals in five games through three weeks of play.

Allie Warren (Tower City, Pa.) from Bryn Athyn College has been named NEAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the second-straight week. The sophomore goalkeeper made a career-high 14 saves in a midweek 3-2 loss against New Jersey City University. On Sept. 16, Warren picked up her third shutout of the season with five saves in a 1-0 win against Old Westbury to finish the week with a 1.50 goals-against average and a .864 save percentage.
