Sidney Trunzo Selected as NEAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Sidney Trunzo as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in women’s cross country for the week ending Sept. 10.

Sidney Trunzo (Williamsport, Pa.) from Penn College has been named NEAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week with her first career win at the Morrisville State College Invitational. Trunzo cruised through the 6K course in 24:45.6, besting the second-place finisher by 43 seconds. The Penn College rookie finished first in a field of 96 runners from 10 schools, which included nine NEAC institutions.
