    CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.- The Wilson Phoenix baseball returned to action this afternoon in a CSAC battle with the Cyclones of Centenary University. The Phoenix (16-8, 5-3 CSAC) defeated the Cyclones (13-16, 4-4 CSAC) in game one convincingly, 16-2, but fell in game two in a close 10-8 ball game.

    BALTIMORE, Md.- The Wilson College softball team looked to continue their winning ways inside of CSAC play, taking on the Gators of Notre Dame of Maryland in a CSAC doubleheader. The Phoenix (18-6-2, 8-0 CSAC) took care of the Gators (7-11, 1-7 CSAC) in both outings, with scores of 8-0 in game one and 15-1 in game two.

    CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.- The Wilson College baseball team was in action earlier this afternoon as they took on the Nittany Lions of Penn State Altoona in a nonconference game. The Phoenix (15-7, 4-2 CSAC) defeated the Lions (19-12, 8-5 AMCC) by a final sore of 11-5.

    MORRISTOWN, N.J.- The Wilson College softball team traveled to the College of St. Elizabeth, earlier this afternoon, for a nonconference doubleheader. The Phoenix (16-6-2, 6-0 CSAC) split the series with the Eagles (22-8, 9-1 NEAC) with the first game going to Wilson, 8-1, and the second game going to St. Elizabeth, 9-0.

    ROSEMONT, Pa. - Wilson College baseball freshman Hunter Cheek (San Antonio, Texas, Smithson Valley) has been named the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Pitcher of the Week. Cheek fired a complete game shutout of high powered Keystone College in a 1-0 victory. In the game, Cheek tallied career highs with 7 innings pitched and 4 strikeouts while allowing a career low with no walks.

    LA PLUME, Pa.- The Phoenix returned to action today facing off against the Giants of Keystone College in the second day of the weekend series. The Phoenix (14-7, 4-2 CSAC) earned a split with the Giants (11-10, 5-1 CSAC) with scores of 5-4 in favor of Keystone and 1-0 in favor of the Phoenix.

    ROSEMONT, Pa. - The Wilson College softball team was back in action on Friday with a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) doubleheader at Rosemont College. The Phoenix (15-5-2, 6-0 CSAC) swept the host Ravens (8-20, 1-5 CSAC) by scores of 6-5 (8 innings) and 12-4. Junior Alison Shockey (Greencastle, Pa., Greencastle-Antrim) paced the Phoenix offense with a 3-for-7 effort at the plate with 3 runs scored and 4 RBI.

    CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.- The Phoenix baseball team took on the Giants of Keystone College today in a battle of the top two teams in the CSAC. The Giants (10-9, 4-0 CSAC) came away victorious in round one, defeating Wilson (13-6, 3-1 CSAC) by a score of 10-2.

    CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The Wilson College men's golf team hosted their annual spring invitational this afternoon at the Chambersburg Country Club. The Phoenix shot a program low 380 as a team to claim first place in the event that also featured the University of Valley Forge and Centenary University. Junior Oliver Perry (London, England, Okanagan Secondary) paced the Phoenix after carding a career low 85. Centenary's Jerome Beyers took home medalist honors after firing a 76.

    CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa.- The Wilson baseball team returned to action this evening, battling the Defenders of Clarks Summit University in a make-up game from last Friday. The Phoenix (13-5, 3-0 CSAC) defeated the Defenders (2-14, 0-3 CSAC) 11-1 to complete the season sweep of their CSAC counterpart.
