The Wells College softball team picked up its first win of the young season with a doubleheader split against SUNY Canton on Sunday, March 24 at the Wells Turf Field. SUNY Canton rallied for a 5-4 victory in the opening game, and Wells overcame an early four-run deficit to win 8-5 in the second game.
The Wells College baseball team played a pair of games that were decided in the final inning in a doubleheader split against Southern Vermont College on Sunday, March 24. In the first game, Wells earned a walk-off victory in the bottom of the seventh inning and won 5-4. In the second game, Wells tied the score in the seventh to force extra innings before falling in nine innings 7-4.
The Wells College men?s lacrosse team went on the road and lost 22-7 at Wilkes University on Saturday, March 23. The Colonels scored 11 goals in a row during the second quarter to break open a close game.

The Wells College men?s volleyball team completed a perfect four-match run on its home-opening weekend for the 2019 season. Wells won both of its Saturday matches, a three-set win over Purchase and a four-set win over Daemen. In the opening set of the first match of the day, junior setter Josh Undari became the program?s all-time leader in assists.
The Wells College men?s volleyball team won both of its matches on Friday, March 1 as the Express played on its home court for the first time this season. Wells defeated Misericordia College and Lasell College, each in straight sets.
The Wells College baseball team will not play its originally-scheduled weekend games for March 2 and 3 at the Wells Turf Field due to snowy field conditions. Saturday's doubleheader against SUNY Canton and Sunday's doubleheader against Alfred State have been postponed, and hope to be rescheduled later in the season.
