    Norman, Mehta earn first wins, but Raptors drop opener

    Kuchera, Bloyed spark Raptors' opening-day victory

    FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (Feb. 24, 2017) ? Junior centerfielder Brett Kuchera (Collingswood, NJ/Collingswood) collected four RBIs, including a two-run home run to help spark his team from a four-run deficit, and sophomore southpaw Steven Bloyed (North Brunswick, NJ/North Brunswick) hurled 5.1 stellar innings in long relief to earn the victory as the Rutgers University-Camden baseball team opened its season with a 7-5 win over Mitchell College here Friday. The game was part of the three-day Armstrong Invitational, hosted by Methodist University.

    Raptors tabbed for seventh in NJAC lacrosse coaches' poll

The Rutgers University-Camden lacrosse team took some major steps during the 2016 season, recording the first New Jersey Athletic Conference victory in its seven-year history, seeing Krystal Valianti earn the only All-NJAC First Team honor in the Raptors' history, climbing out of the NJAC cellar and setting a program record for wins during a 7-8 campaign.

    MSU men spoil Rutgers-Camden's Senior Night

The Montclair State University men's basketball team out-scored Rutgers University-Camden, 34-23, in the second half to wipe out a two-point halftime deficit and went on to defeat the Scarlet Raptors, 66-57, in the final regular-season New Jersey Athletic Conference game for both teams.

    Softball team picked seventh in NJAC pre-season coaches' poll

    CAMDEN, N.J. (Feb. 15, 2017) ? The Rutgers University-Camden softball season ended on a tough note in the rain-shortened New Jersey Athletic Conference playoffs last season. Now the Scarlet Raptors are hoping to prove the NJAC coaches wrong in their pre-season poll, return to the playoffs and get a chance to make amends.
