As two-time defending champions, Morrisville State College received eight 1st place votes to earn the top spot in the 2017 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) men's lacrosse preseason poll (64 points). Cazenovia College, who received the final 1st place vote, is slated at 3rd behind Keuka College who collected 54 points.
