The game was a close one throughout. The Wildcats held a one goal lead through the first quarter and were tied with the Kangaroos at the end of the second and third. Unfortunately, the Wildcats were shut out 4-0 in the fourth, ultimately losing 15-11.
MLAX: Wildcats Fall in Home Opener to Delhi 14-5.MARCY, N.Y. - The Wildcats fell to Delhi on Thursday in the men?s lacrosse home opener 14-5. The Wildcats started slow, allowing Delhi to get off to a 4-0 lead in the first. The second quarter was also advantage Delhi as the Broncos rattled off four more unanswered goals before the Wildcats got on the board late in the quarter. The Wildcats got some offense going in the third and fourth quarter, but it was not enough to mount a comeback.
MLAX: Winter Storm Stella Postpones Men's Lacrosse Home Opener Against Utica College.MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men's lacrosse game against Utica College on Wednesday March 15th at 4:00 PM has been officially postponed due to inclement weather. The new game day and time is Friday March 17th at 3:00 PM. The game will still take place at SUNY Poly's Wildcat Field. The weather on Friday is expected to be in the mid 30's with a 10 percent chance of precipitation.
MLAX: Wildcats Earn First Win of the Season in Dramatic Fashion 14-12 Over Regis.WESTON, MASS. - The SUNY Poly men?s lacrosse team opened their season on Saturday with a win against the Regis College Pride 14-12. The Wildcats and the Pride were tied at 11 with less than a minute left in regulation, but the Wildcat offense would strike twice in the final 23 seconds of the game to take the win earning the team and new Head Coach Brandon Misiaszek the first win of the 2017 season.
WBB: Wildcats Advance to NEAC Championship With Convincing 78-50 Win Over St. Elizabeth.MARCY, N.Y. - The number one seeded SUNY Poly women?s basketball team earned a spot in the NEAC Championship game on Sunday with a big win over St. Elizabeth 78-50. With the win, the Wildcats will make their second consecutive appearance in the NEAC title game. The Wildcats opponent will be the Morrisville State Mustangs who beat Lancaster Bible in the second semifinal 60-50.
MBB: Three Wildcats Voted to NEAC All-Conference Teams.GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced the men?s basketball All-Conference Team selections for the 2016-17 season. Three Wildcats were named All-Conference; Quayshaun Mitchell (Harlem, N.Y.) was voted first team, Kevin Williams (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was voted second team, and Terrynce Wilson (Bronx, N.Y.) was voted third team.

The two records broken were three pointers in a single game by a player, and points in a single game by a team.

The Wildcats lost to the Hawks 0-3 but did a good job hanging with their nationally ranked opponent. The final scores were 19-25, 16-25, 28-30.
MVB: Wildcats Fall to Kean and Emmanuel.UNION, N.J. - The SUNY Poly men?s volleyball lost both matches on day two of their weekend trip to Massachusetts and New Jersey. On Sunday, the Wildcats took on Kean and Emmanuel at Kean University in Union, New Jersey. The Wildcats lost a heartbreaker 2-3 in the first match and lost in three sets to Emmanuel.
MVB: Goggin Surpasses 2,000 Career Assists in Loss to Arcadia.SPRINGFIELD, MASS. ? The Wildcats lost their second match of the day on Saturday to Arcadia 3-1. The Wildcats struggled to settle into a grove. As a team they hit better than Arcadia, but could not finish out a set losing by two points in all three losing sets.
